Description

Restoration of peat bog and river habitat. Man-made drainage ditches will be infilled and deep trench cell bunds will be constructed to re-create the original water holding capacity of the bog. The historically straightened river channel will be restored to a meandering planform. The existing boardwalk will be repaired and extended to allow wheelchair access.
