South Lakeland DC TPO No 115 1995 South Lakeland DC TPO No 141 1998 Beech 944: Crown reduction of up to 3 metres from height and crown spread (phase 1 of phased reduction as recommended in 5.3.2 of the report.) Cedar of Lebanon 960: - The cutting back of the lateral branch extending north from the remaining section of the previously failed upright northern limb by approximately 2.5 metres. - The removal of the detached and attached sections of the damaged southern limb and cutting back of the remainder to a live side branch close to the base. - The removal of dead wood in excess of 25 millimetres in diameter. (the stubs of previously broken branches could also be removed for aesthetic reasons but would be better retained from an ecological perspective). English Oak 963: reduction 2 to 3 metres in the height of the two exposed north-eastern limbs to diminish their susceptibility to failure in storm force winds (as recommended in paragraph 7.3.2 of the report)
