Description

River restoration project to restore natural river and floodplain form and function.The project will realign the river channel to the valley bottom from its current location perched on the valley side. The restored channel will be better connected to its floodplain, have a meandering pool-riffle form and contain large woody material. The existing river channel will be backfilled with the spoil excavated.
