Description

T1 beech -Reduce the length of selected laterals over the driveway (north and south) by up to 2.0m to moderate end-weight and improve clearance. Where required to maintain crown harmony with T2, selective peripheral reduction up to 1.0 m may be undertaken to retain a balanced, co-dominant canopy line.T2 - Reduce upper crown height by up to 2m, targeting the area above and adjacent to the cracked/included union and the cavity, and reduce lateral spreads by up to 2m to remove lever-arm from over-extended sections. Cuts to be made back to suitable secondary growth, maintaining viable growth points and no more than c. 15-20% live crown volume removal overall.
