Adjoining Authority Consultation - Winchester City Council (25/00709/FUL) - Construction of an earth banked slurry lagoon (to hold dairy cattle slurry) with a floating impermeable cover over the slurry. The soil at the site has suitable physical properties to be used for the construction of the lagoon - meaning soil will be moved to construct the banks and compacted to form a lagoon. An appropriate floating cover will be used to cover the lagoon to keep rainwater out, this will also reduce the smell from the new site, The edge of the cover will be buried into the bank around the perimeter to make a seal.
