Description

South facing roof is leaking causing water ingress to south facing wall of building and severe damp in the living room. The roof is constructed using traditional clay peg tiles, however the roof pitch is only circa 25 degrees which is too shallow for a peg tile roof. The roof has leaked repeatedly over the period I have owned the property (since 1990) and was last re-roofed in around 2000. The proposal is to replace the peg tiles with a slate roof which is appropriate for a roof with this pitch on a property of this age.
