Description

The clients objective is to remove the branches entangled with the phone and power line serving Whitedale Farm, and specifically for T6 to reduce the mechanical loading on the limb growing to the North-East over parking area with a historic wound [see picture] to reduce the risk of failure and mitigate the risk of harm to both people and property. Juglans regia ? Walnut T4 [DBH 65cm],T5 [DBH 32cm] & T6 [DBH 90cm] each are in contact with the phone and power lines. [see pictures]Recommendations: Give 2m clearance from the lines leaving most cuts no greater than 75mm and one cut of 100mm diameter T6 - Lateral limb growing North- East over parking area with historic wound [see pictures]. Recommendations: Selective tip reduction removing 3m or leaving no finishing cut greater than 75mm diameter. Crown lift to 5m to prevent damage by farm machinery. (Amended)
