Description

One Magnolia soulangeana - permission requested to remove tree and roots (T1 on attach sketch plan).The tree has grown within 6 metres of the house and is partially under the canopy of its neighbouring silver birch tree (T2 on sketch plan). The roots are lifting some flag stones and there is a risk that they could interfere with the drain from the house to the septic tank. This tree routinely gets frost danage (nice tree in the wrong situation) and we would replace it with two apple trees away from the house.Note: we have planted over 20 trees and a mixed indigenous hedge since we moved to this house in 2001, mainly fruit trees (apple, pear, cherry, greengage, plum) and a willow.
