Description

Plans and Specifications submission under Schedule 17 to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017 for works comprising: Three overbridges that will carry East Way, A45 Coventry Road and A45 Service Road over the HS2 Main Line and ancillary works including: Structure: Provision of a highway gantry at the A45 Coventry Road westbound carriageway; earthworks: Engineering earthworks associated with the realignment of East Way, A45 Coventry Road and A45 Service Road on their approaches to the proposed overbridges; engineering earthworks to form four earthen bunds; provision of a culvert headwall and wingwalls with guardrails on the top; engineering earthworks to form the entrance to the maintenance access tracks and access roads; lighting: Provision of 40 replacement and additional street lighting columns, a lighting control column and gantry lighting; fences and walls: Location of boundary fencing, security fencing, gates and vehicle restraint systems.
