Description

Plans and Specifications submission under Schedule 17 to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017 for works comprising: Engineering earthworks associated with the creation of a new railway cutting (Diddington Cutting); Construction of a new highway overbridge (Diddington Lane Overbridge) to carry the realigned Diddington Lane over the HS2 Main Line; Engineering earthworks associated with the realignment of Diddington Lane and ancillary works including: Construction of Shadow Brook Diddington Lane Highway Culvert; construction of maintenance access stairs and handrails; earthworks to support Public Right of Way realignment and permissive bridleway provision, and to form maintenance access tracks (MATs) and maintenance access strips (MAS); earthworks to form drainage ditches, swales and v-notch weirs, and to support a watercourse diversion; earthworks to support the provision of vehicle parking and turning areas; and location of permanent security, ecological and boundary fencing and vehicle restraint systems.
