Description

Plans and Specifications submission under Schedule 17 to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017 for works compromising: Engineering earthworks for the formation of a railway cutting (Patrick Cutting) to carry to the HS2 Main Line and for the formation of a short railway embankment (Patrick Embankment) and ancillary works including: Formation of landscaping earthworks both to the east and west of the railway cutting; engineering earthworks associated with the realignment of Marsh Lane; engineering earthworks for the formation of a maintenance access track; construction of culvert headwalls; drainage earthworks for the formation of four drainage ditches and a balancing pond; provision of a small permanent area for vehicle parking; installation of a precast concrete noise barrier to the western side of the track alignment; provision of two wooden bat box poles; and location of permanent ecological and boundary fencing and associated gates.
