Description

Plans and Specifications submission under Schedule 17 to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017 for engineering earthworks to form a railway cutting (Horn Brook Cutting) and ancillary works including: Earthworks to form watercourse diversions for Bayley's Brook and Horn Brook, drainage ditches and a balancing pond; earthworks for the horizontal and vertical realignment of the A452 Kenilworth Road and earthworks to junctions with Marsh Lane, Mercote Hall Lane; earthworks to form maintenance access tracks, bridleway and road vehicle parks; construction of drainage pipe outlet culverts and wingwalls and headwalls for Mercote Hall Lane Culvert and Marsh Lane Culvert (the "Roundabout Culverts") and the A452 Culvert; construction of maintenance access staircases; location of permanent fencing (boundary, security and ecological fencing), vehicle restraint barriers and gates; and street lighting.
