Description

Plans and Specifications submission under Schedule 17 to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017 for works comprising: Engineering earthworks to form a railway embankment (Coleshill No. 1 Embankment); construction of a viaduct to carry the railway over the M6 Motorway (M6 South Viaduct); and ancillary works including; earthworks to form a watercourse diversion, drainage ditches, swales, and a balancing pond; earthworks to form maintenance access tracks; provision of a permanent area of road vehicle parking; provision of a trackside concrete noise barrier along the western side of Coleshill No.1 embankment; provision of an acoustic parapet along the western side of the M6 Motorway South Viaduct; above ground works associated with the Culvert; provision of pedestrian accesses to the railway; provision of a cascade; The location of permanent security and boundary fencing and road safety barriers; and replacement lighting.
