Description

Plans and Specifications submission under Schedule 17 to the High Speed Rail (London - West Midlands) Act 2017 for works comprising: Engineering earthworks to form a railway embankment (Bickenhill Embankment) and cutting, construction of an underbridge accommodating the realigned Hollywell Brook (Hollywell Brook Underbridge); and ancillary works including: Earthworks to form two watercourse diversions; earthworks to form three balancing ponds; earthworks to form drainage ditches; construction of culvert headwalls the access track culvert accommodating Bickenhill Brook; earthworks to form two replacement flood storage areas; earthworks to form two maintenance access tracks; earthworks to form a level platform for a Global System for Mobile Communications-Railway (GSM-R) compound; levelling of existing earthworks; landscaping earthworks; provision of permanent areas for vehicle parking; and location of permanent security, ecological and boundary fencing and vehicle restraint barriers.
