Description

Retrofit a sprinkler system that supports compliance with the statutory duties under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. The works include fitting fire detection sprinklers to each flat within the block. The system will be supported by risers position in the common area. The fire suppression system will be fed from water tanks positioned external to the tower block which is subject to this application. The existing fire detection systems will be upgraded to meet the minimum standard as defined under BS5839-6 to flats and Grade A to common parts taking into account guidance from 'NFCC (National Fire Chiefs Council) Fire Safety in Specialised Housing Guide'.
