Certificate of Lawfulness for Existing Use and Development under section 191 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 in respect of the following:- (a) The repairs to the existing dwelling fall within permitted development rights (b) The planning permission granted on the 15th March 2000 under reference number N/00/115/SU/184 was implemented and is therefore still extant. (c) The use of the dwelling was for residential purposes and the fire impacting upon some of the internal and external fabric did not remove that lawful use. The report of the Structural survey has particularly helpfully summarised in the conclusions that the dwelling is structurally sound and cosmetic works could be undertaken internally at the same time as the repair works to the existing roof and an external wall are undertaken, such that the residential use continues.
