Surplus peat excavated and not re-used on the B9082 Cullivoe Road will be used to cover the bitmac surface of the former road to a depth of 0.3 metres. This will then be topped with peat turves from the Cullivoe site or seeded with a native species grass, heather , wild flower mix.
