Description

1 no. Lime tree - reduce the crown by 3 to 4 metres to reduce the loading on branches and to remove the dead wood. Work is proposed due to concerns over limb failure. The tree started to show signs of dieback on its Eastern side in 2021 and large black spots on the bark on most of its limbs and also some fungus around the base of the tree, there are also defects at the branch/stem unions with slits forming and there is no healing of the splits. The area around the base has been treated with an application of bio-char but this has not improved the health of the tree.
