Description

Details pursuant to Discharge Condition 4 (TStructural Drawings) and Condition 5 (Details of proposed dry raiser) of planning permission RU.24/0019 for the proposed installation of new dry risers within the Founders Building for improved fire safety and protection. The proposed works include recording the existing wet riser pipework, inlets and outlets to create a survey record for reinstatement and archive purposes; removal of the existing wet riser outlet valves and recessed housing; installation of new dry riser inlet and outlet valve cabinet recesses and creation of new openings in the internal walls for dry riser pipework from level 0 to level 4; new inlet and outlet valves and fire rated shaft enclosure around the new dry riser pipework. Fix new fire rated access panels to all recesses and openings providing access to existing wet riser and new dry riser pipework and equipment; Redecorate/paint internally to make good existing finishes.
