Application Details
Description
T1+T2 Oaks. Both trees are sited on the Onley Bridle path to the North East of No.19 and at the Western end of Rosewood Avenue. The S.W. lower crowns of both trees overhang the gardens of No.19 and No.17. The trees are reducing light to the rear of both properties which are already shaded out by other mature trees in the immediate vicinity. I propose to prune back the crown of T1 by 3m, current crown spread in this direction (S.W.) is 12m. The crown section of this part of the tree is over extended with a historical open wound from a previous pruning point at 3m from the main stem. Pruning back will alleviate some of the stress incumbent on this weak point and the limb as a whole. I propose to prune back the lower crown spread on T2 by 2m, tree has asymmetrical form with C.S. To South of approx. 7.8m, again to increase light levels to rear of No.19. I have provided photos and sketch plan to help identify the actual location of T1 and T2. Ownership of these trees is believed to be Rugby Borough Council.
