Description

Removal of plum tree saplings (where possible, dug up and planted elsewhere in the grounds) and felling juvenile ash trees in the orchard (see doc 1 for highlighted area - all trees marked out with red and blue tape on site). Purpose to replant the area with a more diverse orchard to include 2 cherry, 2 apple and 2 fig trees to complement and diversify the already established apple and plum trees surrounding the orchard.
