Description

T1,2 and 3 Oaks; both trees are part of a run of four Oaks on the Western boundary of the property. I propose to lift the crowns of T1-3 to 5m,(current height approx. 15m) and prune back the crown spread of T1 and 2 on the Southeast side,(house and garden side) by 2-2.5m to increase light levels to the rear aspect of the property and allow establishment of planting underneath the trees. Current crown spread on Southeast side of T1 and T2 is 7.5 and 8.5m. T2 has a significant cavity at its base on West side and evidence of Fistulina Hepatica, (photo) immature bracket removed. Work is part of an overall task to remove Ivy and major deadwood from all the Oaks on the property.
