Description

Larches to South of Drive. G1-G8, trees are being dead wooded as part of ongoing maintenance. Also I propose to prune back the longer branches on the trees over the driveway (North side) I have numbered G1 at the start of the drive, (East on the sketch plan) to G8 at the rear of the garage. G1 (C.S. 5m) prune back longer branches in crown to North by 1-1.5m, G2 (C.S. 9m) prune back longer branches in crown to North by 1.5-2.5m. G3 deadwood only. G4 (C.S. 7m) prune back lower branch to North only,by 2m. G5, (C.S. 9.5m) prune back main drooping leader by 4m to secondary growth. G6 deadwood only. G7 prune height by approx 2.5m to alleviate weight loading on leaning stem,(height 19.5m). G8 remove top dead section. T1 Ash at rear of property on Northern boundary, tree has grown in competition with neighbouring Beech, this has resulted in one long branch to the South East over the most commonly used part of the garden, this branch is 18m in length and is extended to such a point that I am concerned about its structural integrity. I propose to prune back this branch to 1.5m from the main stem to allow a safe amount of dieback if this occurs. The tree also has an extended branch over the property to the North, this branch is also vulnerable to breakage as it extends over 6m out of the crown profile of the tree with a significant amount of foliage making it vulnerable to wind loading. Planning permission has recently been given to extend the neighbouring property close to the crown footprint of this tree. I propose to prune this branch back to 0.5m from the stem to allow some dieback if this occurs. T2 Ash at front of property on Northern boundary, remove secondary growth emanating from union of main leaders, this section of the Ash is in very poor condition and extends over footpath, No.182 and the neighbouring property.
