Description
Holm Oak - Reduction works as per the Wharton Report. Also, crown lift to achieve 5.5 m clearance over the highway. Multi-stem sycamore (adjacent to Holm Oak). Remove 3 lowest small diameter branches over garden as discussed. Crown lift (secondary branches) to achieve 5.5m clearance over highway. Adjacent to the Sycamore grind out stump of Robinia that uprooted in a storm in December '24. Replace with Prunus sargentii. (Flowering cherry). Remove young/poorly formed Lime tree towards the north west corner of garden. Large Beech tree - crown lift to give 2.5m clearance over garden (pruning of small diameter secondary branches to growth points). Aerial inspection of cavities in upper crown and what appears to be cracked limb in upper canopy. Sycamore (adj to Beech) - Crown lift to give 2.5m clearance over garden (pruning of small diameter secondary branches to growth points) and cut back from house to give 2 metre clearance from property. Oak to the rear - remove dead branches. Pruning of lower small diameter secondary branches to give 2 to 3 metre clearance over property roof and garden. Coast Redwood to front - Crown lifting to give 2.5m clearance over public pathway. Adjacent to driveway grind out old stump of Robinia and plant 1 Prunus umineko. (Flowering cherry). Removal of 5 young maples adjacent to driveway and house (trees poorly formed/suppressed) keeping 2 nearest highway towards eastern extent of the garden and monitor.
