T1,2+3, Poplars, cut to ground. Trees have been historically heavily pollarded and do not warrant further preservation. Pollarding of these trees creates a weak structure which requires cyclical pruning to prevent failure at the pruning point, with the result of a weak tree,(physiologically, structurally and aesthetically).
