Description

T1-5 Ash, trees are part of a protected wooded area, it is adjacent to the car park and N.E. corner of unit C1. Trees within the area are diseased and many have collapsed, Ash die back is the main disease affecting the Ash trees, there also seems to be a secondary fungus which is attacking root and butts within the area though at time of inspection no identifying fruiting bodies could be found though rhizomorphs were present on a collapsed Beech within the area. T1-5 are, outsiders, on the group with associated crown bias toward the open space to the South of the wooded area. I propose to reduce the height of these five trees to approx. 6m, (current height 18m+) to reduce the risk of collapse through wind throw or root/butt failure and consequential damage to property or risk to H+S of warehouse users.
