Description

T1 Birch, cut to ground, tree is over mature and has been pruned several times, it is very large but any further reduction would result in a poor aesthetic form and also the problems associated with making large pruning wounds on Birch, principally rotting out of stumps which can lead to failure of the growth point. Given the trees position over public amenity space and garages this is not a desireable situation. Coupled with recent root ingress into the drains and re-surfacing of the garage area it is felt that removal and replacement would be a more sensible option.
