Description

T1 Maple, tree has recently suffered breakage from the outer crown, losing a branch onto public highway, to reduce the chance of further break-out I propose to prune back the crown spread of the lower to mid crown of the tree, crown spread is currently 7-8m. To achieve this I would like to selectively thin-out crown tips (approx 30%) to reduce weight loading on lateral branches, raise the crown to 6m (current height is 16.5m) to also allow more light to the rear garden and prune back on the South side to give a minimum of 2m clearance to the property. T2 Maple, remove lower growth on main stem,(2-3m height) including dog leg branch on smallest 3rd leader, (poor form) at 2.5m height, crown lift to 6m to increase light to garden.
