Description

We are applying to carry out some works within W1 of the TPO in order to make use of the space as a woodland garden, make it more accessible and safe plus allowing more access to the flood defense system recently installed. Works as follows:1. T1 Alder - Fell to ground level due to very poor condition, crown bias over highway and decay within crown. 2. G1 Hazel - Cut to form Coppice approx. 6 stumps in order to gain better access to flood defense system on southern boundary.3. G2 Rowan - Remove 5 Rowan in order to create a vegetable patch. This is a scrub group of multi-stemmed trees, which are not significant to the group.4. Maintain crown heights of all trees within W1 adjacent to the lane to approx. 5m from ground level. 5. All Ash within W1 are affected by Ash Dieback (approx. 25-30), the applicant would like the option to remove them where necessary if they are considered to pose a threat to the safe use of the garden area.6. Crown lift where necessary trees within W1 to a maximum height of 2.5m from ground level for access.
