Description

Fell plum tree under reference TPO/00011/84Following a recent survey of the tree's to the rear of the property. The plum tree under TPO/00011/84 showing signs of overall decline and irremediable structural defects. The large Northern branch is dead and further signs of sparse buds and leaf are evident on the Eastern side of the canopy. The Northern branch has a weak included compression union. There are several Ganoderma spp. on the East and West of the base. The hammer test indicated hollow areas of the basal area of the main stem up to and around the brackets. The effect of the Ganoderma spp. when advanced and extensive can result in mechanical failure of the stem, base or root plate.The consultant present on the survey was Rebecca Rose.- Level 3 Horticulture- LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector- BS5837 certification
