Description

There are approx 30 Poplar trees that mark the border of the property. These Poplar trees are now 100 years old (planted in 1924 exactly) and have started to fall over in storms. They range in height from roughly 30ft to 50ft. At least 2 large Poplars are diseased and in danger of falling into Rochford Hundred Golf Course, and one is being held up by a neighbouring tree. We are applying to a) fell the 3 identified diseased or dead trees, and b) reduce the Poplars by 30-50% to a uniform height, in order to preserve them. In addition, there is a large pine tree on the north-western corner of the property, next to the electricity transformer. It has grown too tall and had branches that are nearly hitting the cables. We are applying to reduce this tree by 25%.
