I Have contacted Skywood Treecare for help on identification and advice. There are 8 Lime trees to front of property indicated on the sketch plan. I have been advised that reducing these 8 tree crowns to 7-8m, above ground level will enable the removal of limbs with wood worm, reduce the risk of large limbs falling onto the right of way below, not disturb areas where woodpeckers have previously been active (not current) and prevent further tree's from the risk of falling onto the power line and highway. The 2 ash trees within my garden indicated on the sketch plan also to be reduced down to 8-9m to reduce the risk of injury in the garden. Due to a large driveway there will be no blocking of the highway required for any of the tree reduction.The tree surgeon has advised that the trees will regenerate again quickly due to the tree type and there in minimal risk to the health of the tree especially at this time of year.
