Oak Trees Front of 27 Sunny Road (B1 and B2) TPO 00044/83I have seen that many of my neighbours have recently been allowed to make substantial cut backs to their oak trees that are subject to TPOs and I seek permission to also make a similar reduction to my two trees. I love my trees and I only want to preserve them and strengthen them. The top branches are roughly about a meter from my house and are overhanging Sunny Road (opposite Westerings Junior School) and my wife is becoming increasing worried and stressed about the possibility of a branch falling on either the parents cars that are parked under the trees, or worse still if a branch were to fall on a child. I am growing concerned about my wife's mental health as the trees seems to be an almost daily discussion point. The branches are also becoming spindly and it would also be good to thin-out the branches at the same time as making the overall reduction in size.It would be good to have permission to make a sizeable reduction (say minimum of 3 meters) to stop me having to refer back to you every couple of years.
