Description

T1 Cedar Large, prominent tree in rear garden. Last pruned (thinned and reduced) in 2021. Thin crown / branch ends by 20-25% to create an even density of crown throughout. Reduce crown all round by 2-2.5m and balance. Prune to suitable points of regrowth. Remove deadwood, stubs and crossing branches. Thin crown / branch ends by 20-25% to create an even density of crown throughout. Reduce crown laterally all round by 2-2.5m and balance. Prune to suitable points of regrowth. Remove deadwood, stubs and crossing branches. Current crown height - approx. 20m Proposed crown height following pruning - approx. 20m Current crown width - approx.18m Proposed crown width following pruning - approx.16m The reason for the proposed works is to maintain the tree in a safe condition and to reduce the chances of lateral limb failure which is very common in the species. Similar works were carried out in 2021.
