Description

Leyland Cypress 'Castlewellan' - 10 meters in height. No. 1 on the sketch plan The proposal is to fell this mature Cypress tree located on the boundary wall and replace it with a mature Robinia tree (4.2 to 4.8 metres (14-16cm girth)) planted in line with the existing run of five Robinia trees along the boundary, which will maintain visual continuity and enhance the landscape character. This Cypress was originally planted as a screening tree when Parkland House was constructed 25 years ago but is now in poor condition and growing too large in close proximity to the boundary wall.
