Description

T1 - Beech - Crown reduction by up to 2 metres in height and spread with a maximum pruning wound of 50mm - The current height of the tree is approximately 17 metres, and the width is approximately 15 metres. After a crown reduction of up to 2 metres, the new height would be approximately 15.5 metres, with the width reducing to approximately 13.5 metres, depending on suitable growth points as outlined in BS3998:2010. Reason for work: The trees has been previously crown reduced and the works are to help maintain the trees at or close to their current dimensions. The selective crown reduction will help maintain an aesthetically balanced crown while only having a very limited impact on the health and amenity of the tree. All pruning to be carried out within guidance of BS3998:2010
