Description

This application proposes to remove existing Thuja occidental (White Cedar), marked as T8 on drawing submitted with this application. The existing tree within the private driveway offers no ecological or visual benefit to the surrounding conservation area, it's removal will not have a negative impact to the local wildlife or ecological network. Potential replacement of said non-native tree will be based on landscape design together with arboriculturist advice. This is to ensure a more appropriate native species is chosen which could have a greater contribution to the surrounding conservation area. The landscape design will be submitted to the Local authority as part of conditional discharge related to planning approval 22/3802/VRC.
