Description

The tree works have been requested on behalf of the Environment Agency following a tree condition report from the site. These works are located within the Conservation Area of Teddington Lock. The items have been listed on the accompanying map provided and are as follows: G0004 - deadwood removal above the footpath of all trees. Pollarding of one Horse Chestnut height 20m and crown radius 7m. Proposing to be pollarded to approximately 10m subject to suitable pruning position this may vary +/- 1m. Pollarding of one Ash tree height 20m and crown radius 7m. Proposing to be pollarded to approximately 8m subject to suitable pruning position this may vary +/- 1m T0029 - Norway Maple central crown with dieback. ivy covered stem and squirrel damage. Pollard to 7m above ground level - current height 12m and crown radius 5m, proposed pollarding to approximately 7m subject to suitable pruning position this may vary +/- 1m T0032 - Ash Minor deadwood throughout, stage 1 of Ash dieback. remove deadwood. Current height 12 and crown radius 4m, proposed works are to remove deadwood G0001 - Largely self-set group encroaching utility cables. Reduce to provide 1m of clearance of utility lines. Height 8m and crown radius 4m, proposed works will result in height of 7m and crown radius 3m only where needed to complete clearance of utility lines. T0021-White Willow Encroaching onto footway. Fell tree. Height 6m and crown radius 7m, proposed works height N/A T0033 - Sycamore ivy cladded base and crossing branches on lowest x2 branches over footpath with branch decline. Reduce lowest lateral branches by 2m. Height 10m and crown radius 3m, proposed work height 10m and crown radius 1m on lowest lateral branches only. All works will be completed in accordance of BS 3998:2010.
