Description
The reason for the application is that it has been found that the it was not structurally practical to construct the dormer 200mm back from the eaves, due to the limitations of the existing building structure below which is not a full width cavity wall, the dormer being located above the stair (as shown on the existing and as built section) and the side of the house not having a traditional overhanging eaves. The dormer was therefore constructed as far back from the notional eaves line as was practically possible.
