Description

Norway Maple close to the south east of Old Ferry House Following the refusal of the application to remove the Norway Maple this application is for work to respond to the council's confirmation in the decision notice 23/T0193/TPO that 'some of the branches may need reduction to manage safety'. The work needed involves identical work to that previously approved by Richmond Council in 2008 and 2013 and addresses the tree's growth in the last ten years as well as the deterioration in its condition identified in the inspection report: Crown clean to remove crossing and dead branches, reduction of lateral branches to clear guttering by two metres and crown reduction by 15%. The application includes the report previously submitted to evidence the tree's condition though its conclusion has now been overridden by the refusal of the application to remove the tree.
