To prune the lime tree in our rear garden as dead branches are falling off - currently has a canopy spread of about 24 feet and an approximate height of 71 feet. To pollard the tree it is normal to take it back to where it was pollarded the last time. I estimate, comparing it to your recently pollarded tree in Tudor Avenue, that after the tree has been pollarded it will reduce the canopy back to about 6 feet and the height by 13 feet
