Description

T1 Cypress Fell to ground level due to multiple fungal fruiting bodies at base believed to be ganoderma causing heartwood decay. Tree has significant lean towards neighbouring property and gardens. A recent reduction on a neighbouring tree has made this worse. Also there is a significant old wound/area of decay on the back side of the stem that is around 4 metres in length. Applicant will replace tree with a sapling.Reduction would leave the tree looking unsightly and therefore remove the amenity value in the interest of safety tree to be removed.
