Application Details
Description
T1 Weeping Beech - To laterally reduce Weeping beech tree adjacent to the lawn (yellow on plan) by up to 2.5m on the western side and thin by approximately 20% over the lawn area to aid light penetration and reduce loading on the scaffolds on this side of the tree which have compressive unions in the lower crown. The tree is heavily biased towards the west and this work will help to rebalance the crown and reduce stress loading. G1 Yew Trees - To crown lift entire line of Yew trees (1,2 and 3) detailed red on the plan to 4.5m from ground level and: 1: Laterally reduce the eastern side of the western row by up to 2.5m to allow more light to pass into the clearing and tidy the appearance. 2: Fell single small etiolated stem in north west corner to ground level and laterally reduce south side by 1.5m as high as practical. 3: Laterally reduce western side of eastern row by up to 1.5m as high as we can safely reach. To maintain trees crowns within proximity to surroundings.
