Description

Beech (T1) - extensive die back within the crown. Reduce height by approximately 8 - 10m removing deadwood only to the highest live growth (exempt works but notifying due to the volume of timber to be removed). Beech (T2) - extensive cambial die back on main stem and structural limbs, resulting in some heavily decayed or dead limbs. Cambial die back on the main stem extends down from the tips to approximately 50% of the height. Probably due to drought stress over the previous two years, and subsequent infection by pathogens which may have passed from T1. Reduce height by approximately 8 -10m to reduce loading on the main stem and structural limbs. Beech (T3) - no evidence of cambial die back yet. Reduce height by approximately 3 - 4m to reduce the new wind loading it will be subjected to following the reduction in height of T1 and T2
