Description

REPAIR WORKS AS FOLLOWS: a) Replace 3no. GF windows to Park Building (Secondary School Annex). - Currently casement aluminium crittall windows we are to be replacing with timber Georgian double glazed casement windows (Specification to match new windows replaced under Application No: 3967/21). b) Replace 2no. Gable Windows to Park Building (Secondary School Annex). - Currently they are narrow casement aluminium crittall windows, and we are to be replace with timber windows. c) Replace 3no. rooflight windows to Dean Building (Higher Grade School). - Currently aluminium rooflight windows, which we are to be replacing with aluminium rooflight windows to be like for like (Windows are failing, leaking and in need of urgent repairs/replacement). d) Replace Dormers to central roof of Park Building (Secondary School Annex). - Currently timber framed, boarded over and lead lined hoods and cheeks. To be replaced with like for like timber framing and replacement of perished lead cheeks and hoods to match existing. (Dormers are failing, leaking and in need of urgent repairs/replacement). e) Repairs to Lead Roof to Main Building (Elementary School). - Removing of existing lead coverings and storing for re-use in existing positions. The lead roof coverings need to be lifted for replacement of heavily decayed and damaged ceiling joists and substrate, before being reinstated (Lead Roof is failing, leaking and in need of urgent repairs). f) Brickwork repointing works to Park Building (Secondary School Annex) & Main Building (Elementary School). - Pointing works are to be like for like with the current appearance, texture, colour etc. to match existing. g) WC repair works to Main Building (Elementary School). - Repairs and light internal refurbishment work to damaged toilet below Lead Roof. (WC area needs urgent repairs due to previous leaks occurring to Lead Roof). h) Crack stitching repairs to chimney on Caretakers House - Repairs required to ensure stability of chimney, involving stainless steel crack stitching bars (Chimney with significant cracking, and in need of urgent repairs) (summary). (AMENDED PLANS).
