Description

Change Condition 9 to read Works to the roof or loft shall be undertaken outside the dates of 1st April to 30th September, unless a further bat survey has been conducted by a suitably experienced ecologist which demonstrates that breeding bats are not present at the site in the current year (subject to formal demonstration to the authority by the project ecologist that there are no nesting birds present at the time of any works carried out after March 1st ). Internal wall crevices shall not be blocked between 1st November and 31st March unless it has been possible to confirm bats are absent from the features. Reason: Under Section 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (as amended) it is an offence to kill or injure any wild bird, take, damage or destroy the nest of any wild bird while that nest is in use or being built.
