Fell 4no. Plum Trees as specified by University College in the North Oxford Victorian Suburb Conservation Area.The trees are situated at the edge of the orchard and are in a cluster. They all have die back in the canopy, two of them have bracket fungus growing in the canopy and they are all fruiting poorly; i believe they may have silver leaf. Application is to fell all four trees and grind out the stump, waste would be chipped on-site, timber will be retained for firewood. i would then re-plant with a non-stone fruit tree species such as apple, pear or quince.
