Description

The katsura tree planted by a previous owner of the house is too big and too vigorous for such a small front garden. It has been regularly pruned but it grows into the next-door house (number 4), touching their windows and fabric of the house. This obscures their view and potentially damages their windows.The roots are causing the path up to our front door to buckle, and when in leaf the light into the first floor bedroom is obscured. The branches scrape on the windows and brickwork. It has damaged phone lines into the house.The tree is less than two metres from the house and this position is completely unsuitable for such a vigorous tree.I would like the tree to be felled and have the stump removed.
