Description

Proposal: Removal of two low hanging branches from a large oak tree in their front garden.Reason: To maintain an even crown height, prevent one branch from drooping onto the shrubs when in leaf, and address another branch that hangs low over the main steps to the house. The work will improve light levels in the garden and reduce risk to visitors, particularly as two sizeable branches have fallen from the tree in recent years. If approved, Andersons will also remove a small amount of deadwood, which they understand does not require consent. Three photos are provided showing the tree, the low branch over the lawn, and the branch over the steps.
