Description

The cedar tree on the East boundary wall of the garden, adjacent to South Road, is dying (final stages - really very few distal green spines on less than 10% of the tree, otherwise completely bare). A Tree Surgeon (Sam Wass, https://samwasstreesurgeons.com) has identified the cause as bleeding canker, which has been progressive and is terminal. The only treatment is felling of this tree unfortunately and I would rather it were done quickly to prevent any secondary problems.
